My academic background includes degrees from esteemed institutions such as IIT Madras, the University of Wisconsin, Stanford University, and Harvard Business School. In my recent work, I am proud to have collaborated with the Royal Families of the Indian subcontinent, further enriching my professional journey.

As an ardent believer in the power of positive thinking and inspired by the concept that our biggest barriers often reside within ourselves, I have embraced various ventures and side-gigs. Drawing inspiration from both business literature and eastern wisdom, I ventured into numerous projects where I leveraged my strengths in Data Analytics, Strategic Decision Making, and Computational Thinking. These projects spanned diverse domains, including computer science research areas such as operating systems, distributed systems, and database technologies, the area of non-profits, the area of tech entrepreneurship, and the area of media & journalism. 

Over the past two decades, I have actively pursued my passion for writing, resulting in a creative portfolio that spans multiple genres. I have authored books of poetry, advised startups on marketing strategies, and explored thought-provoking topics through my writing. One of my recent writing projects garnered significant attention, leading to a Reddit AskMeAnything session and establishing my presence on platforms like Amazon.com.

In an era where lifelong tenure at a single company has become uncommon, I have successfully navigated several career transitions while embarking on numerous pilot projects. Although these projects did not lead to a full-scale pivot, their outcomes exceeded expectations and provided valuable insights. I highly recommend reading "Pivot" by Jenny Blake, an excellent resource for those contemplating career transitions.

Engaging in a variety of projects has not only enabled me to acquire a diverse skill set but has also cultivated a strong network and a deep sense of gratitude. Through the years, I have undertaken roles encompassing marketing, research, and hands-on development. From writing a mathematics column and serving as an editor to contributing to a textbook on strategic management, each endeavor has required careful planning, time management skills, and unwavering focus.

In these projects, I have used my strengths in Data Analytics, Data Science and Computational Thinking to execute projects in diverse domains. I have had the opportunity to work with world class researchers in many areas of Computer Science, including operating systems, distributed systems, real-time systems, database technologies and XML. In addition, I have also had the opportunity to work with world class researchers in Finance and Business Management.

In my recent work, I recently published a new Theory of Political Science rivaling the theses of Francis Fukuyama and Samuel Huntington. It also is an alternative to the ideas of Michael Porter in terms of the way one sees the nature of  the competitive advantage of nations. I also contributed to a textbook on Strategic Management that is considered a bit of a classic in the field.
