When I was a doctoral student at Harvard Business School, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work on the South Asian adaptation of a textbook in the area of Strategic Management. This is a textbook that I loved working on because of the sheer number of beautiful ideas I came across while working on it. There is a certain beauty to art and painting. But there is also a certain beauty to good ideas that is austere and precise. This book is considered something of a classic in the field, and had me getting into the methods in econometrics and health analytics that are widely used in the field of data science as well. The book entitled "Strategic Management: A South-Asian Perspective" is an adaptation of the textbook with cases and other material drawn from India and other countries in the Indian subcontinent.
You can purchase it on Amazon here. I also worked for a non-profit during my time at Harvard Business School. The non-profit, which was just a gleam in the eye of a few at the time, has now grown to cover three continents and has been the recipient of multiple awards. You can read about it here.
