My Creative Portfolio
Greetings!

Allow me to embark swiftly, yet gracefully, on this journey through my creative portfolio, primarily showcasing my writing work. Here, I have curated a collection of my previous writing works in terms of books, poetry, academic research and new idea development. (I also plan to create a website showcasing my design projects.) This space serves as both a resource and a platform, showcasing my writing while providing a glimpse into my professional and personal projects.

This blog serves as a portfolio of my written creations, which I have passionately pursued alongside my professional commitments. As of May 2021, I have consolidated my blogging and writing endeavors into this singular platform, My Creative Work, confident that this approach will prove successful. Furthermore, I am currently honored to hold the role of Editor for Termite, a journal associated with the Epimetheus Society and TOPSociety, two esteemed High IQ Societies. While I seldom delve into discussions about IQ, it is a fact I cannot conceal, much like my Indian ethnicity. Consequently, I take this opportunity to acknowledge it, albeit with a hint of reluctance.

However, I must emphasize that emotional intelligence (EQ) is far more significant than IQ. My extensive social network on Facebook and LinkedIn, spanning diverse backgrounds, stands as evidence of my strong EQ. Moreover, the ability to manage time efficiently surpasses intelligence. A higher IQ may offer advantages in expediting learning processes, particularly in non-technical subjects. Nonetheless, it does not shorten the "doing time." In fact, individuals with faster typing skills or math skills may hold an advantage in accomplishing certain tasks swiftly. The real value lies in critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making, all of which are enriched through knowledge and broadening one's horizons.

The allocation of time holds greater importance than IQ. Ankur Warikoo eloquently highlights that we all have 24 hours in a day. Some individuals accomplish more within this timeframe, while others fall short. Observing my extensive array of projects, spanning from tech ventures in product management, software development, and marketing, to writing technical papers across computer science, philosophy, history, and strategic management, as well as writing columns, crafting inventions, penning books, and managing household responsibilities—most recently, even developing AI systems for poetry and participating in engaging panel discussions—you will realize that productivity is the key.

I firmly believe in continuous learning and skill development. In addition to my diverse range of work, I have taken on side gigs as a Substitute Teacher in California, a Lyft driver in the Bay Area, a Tech Sales representative for a Chicago-based company, and even conducted remote training programs for individuals in Paraguay, to name a few. By actively making time for these pursuits, I have gained insights into various domains and developed a deep appreciation for the challenges faced by individuals with diverse job responsibilities. If there is one lesson to be gleaned from this bio, it is the significance of time management. And if there are two takeaways, the second would be to engage in lifelong learning. At the end of the day, I may be the only person you know who engaged in regular email exchanges with esteemed academics while driving for Lyft to earn some extra cash.

Regarding the photograph on my Professional Profile page, please note that it is an older picture taken several years ago. For a more accurate representation, you can refer to the snapshot on my Personal Blog. I am also deeply interested in anti-aging research. If I appear younger than my peers, it is a testament to standing on the shoulders of giants. (Hollywood agents, kindly note that email is my preferred mode of contact, and any million-dollar sign-on bonus should be sent directly to my PayPal 🤣).

My first book of poetry, now available on Amazon, centers around the theme of Covid. I also hosted a Reddit AmA on Covid, discussing my recent publication, which you can find on the Reddit website. Since the first cases were reported in Wuhan in December 2019, the Covid-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted the world. Should you only read one thing about Covid, let it be this: with appropriate measures, you can safeguard yourself from this deadly virus, and it is crucial to get vaccinated if circumstances permit. I describe my second book of poetry as well as my books of recipes in my professional profile, which you can find [here].

Clicking on the "Creative Portfolio" link will direct you to a page featuring three columns, as depicted in the accompanying image. This layout provides a glimpse into the breadth of projects I have undertaken.

Let the journey through my writing commence. Thank you for reading!
